Born 1947.

Studied 'Pure Photography' at the Manchester College of Science & Technology (1963-1966) and began a career in professional photography.

Moved to London in 1969 to join studios specialising in portraiture and advertising.

Continued to pursue his personal work and in 1983 was made a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and exhibited regularly.

Awarded a bronze medal in 1995 and a silver medal in 2007 at the Society's Annual International Exhibitions.

In his professional life he has photographed HM the Queen, the late Queen Mother, Prince Charles, the Duke of Edinburgh, the King of Bahrain, the President of Egypt, the Ruler of Dubai and the Princely Family of Liechtenstein.
